A Royal Day!

March 2017

Start your day with full buffet breakfast at the hotel

Depart to the Royal Stables located at the small picturesque village of Fuhais 20 Minute driver west of the Capital Amman. These stables are the home of the most beautiful Arabian horses in the region.
A parade will take place in these private premises to view some of the world champions of Arabian beauties and their offspring’s.
Owned by the Royal Family, the Royal Stables are under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princes Alia, the daughter of Late King Hussein.
Princes Alia’s life is dedicated to bringing up Pure Arabian Horses that are brought up in the gentlest way, where the horses are never ridden and never handled with a whip, the only purpose of having them is to give them the best of life and show them off to the world either by private visits or by international Horse shows.
There is a famous saying “Germans are proud of their Mercedes Benz, and Jordanians are proud of their Pure Arabians”

After the horse show we will depart by coach to the Royal Car Museum about 15 minutes’ drive.
The Royal Car Museum has a vast car collection from vintage to limited edition and sport cars of his late Majesty King Hussein. Collecting cars was one of his hobbies as he was a Rally Driver and loved motor vehicles.
On arrival of the guests to the Museum, a guided tour of the unique cars that are being displayed, will take place. Some having audio/video explanation. Some of these cars are very significant to the history of Jordan and very much related to the late King Hussein and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
The tour can take anywhere from 45 Minutes up to an hour and a half.

Once we are done with the Museum, the historical tour will begin with the Roman Theater located in downtown Amman. The visit of the Citadel will then take place with a view overlooking the city and visit of the Ancient Umayyad Place located on this hill Top.
After the visit of the Citadel, we will depart for lunch at Fakher el din restaurant

Fakher El Dean Restaurant is one of the most up market and well known restaurants for Jordanians. Famous guests from all over the world dine at Fakher El Din and their names are engraved on plaques and displayed at the entrance of the restaurant.
The building itself was private home of His late HE. Fawaz Al Mulki, one of the first Prime Minister of Jordan in the early sixties, then in the late 70’s became the residence of the Spanish Ambassador to Jordan,
This restaurant offers the best of fresh local starters (Mezze- of 10 different appetizers) and mixed grill or fish as main course,

After the fabulous lunch, depart back to the hotel for some rest.
Afternoon at leisure.

In the evening, get ready for dinner out of the hotel located at about a 10 minute driver by coach.

Dinner at the Private Royal King Hussein Club in Amman:
Back in the 50’s and 60’s this club was the private club for the High Ranking Army Officers -  then it became the gathering place for retired Army officers, Prime Ministers, Writers,  etc. until the 90’s where it became a private club with beautiful gardens surrounding the premises.
Upon arrival at the club, a welcoming alcoholic aperitif will be served in the lavish lounge at its ground floor, followed by a set menu seated dinner that will be served in a private room or a private Garden of the club depending on the time of the year and the size of the group.

After dinner, the coach will stop for a night cap at one of the Roof top Chill out Bars named The Loft, overlooking the 7 hills of The Capital Amman skyline, or the indoors part of it which was in the past an old home now named the Living Room now is one of the most famous bars the local in crowd goes to.
