Blaguss DMC is proud to announce the successful completion of this year’s biggest and most complex incentive program...
We created this deluxe event of 1200 guests for a French company in close co-operation with our client. The aim of the event was to reward the best sales persons of the company and to show them how important and preciousthey are to the company by means of the program. It is our privilege to report: Mission completed!
Let’s gain a little insight to the program...
After arriving to Budapest, all guests were transferred to Castle District by our fleet of 35 luxury coaches to enjoy an exclusive concert at the recently restored Matthias Church and to get a first impression of a fascinating city from Fishermen’s Bastion. The choir and organ playing was gorgeous; guests were amazed by ethereal voices in a monumental building.
Before leaving for dinner, we managed to quickly check-in all participants in 8 different hotels, leaving them enough time to prepare for a long night. The first night’s dinner was organized at Millenaris Park. This historical building complex located on the Buda side in a green area dotted with lakes and surrounded by a big park, is an ideal venue for large incentive groups and has proven its capability to host big events.
After the welcome reception in the park, the dinner and the program continued inside... Fire jugglers, aerial tissue dancers, wall dancers, piano and drum players, singers and other musicians enriched the colourful program.
The second day started with different optional programs such as a walking tour through Downtown Budapest, a visit to the colourful cavalcade of vegetables, fruits, and spices at the Great Market Hall, an insight to the Hungarian State Opera House with a surprise concert, relaxation at the thermal pool of Széchenyi Bath and a boat tour on River Danube.
The optional programs ended with a nice lunch in some of Budapest’s most authentic restaurants.
After lunch the group moved to the magnificent Palace of Arts to attend the company’s conference on education and marketing intelligence.
Preparations for the gala dinner started right after the conference, when we transferred guests back to their hotels to change, refresh, and to turn themselves into Ladies and Gentlemen of the “Great Gatsby” era. The gala dinner was organized in the Hungarian Railway Museum, but the night started at the Western Railway station in Central Budapest, as the transfer from there was arranged by nostalgic vintage railway cars pulled by a steam locomotive.
The welcome reception at the park of the Hungarian Railway Museum, followed by sumptuous dinner and a spectacular revue show inside the main hall evoked the atmosphere of the 1920s and 1930s.
The final day had some logistic challenges again for our team, how to get 1200 participants to Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport on time for their charter flights through rush hour traffic. But thanks to the careful planning and perfect implementation, all guests arrived safely, keeping the memories of an unforgettable event and a city full of surprises in their hearts.
And what guests may have missed during the three days? Well... a little bit of sleep maybe but they can surely let you know it was all worth it!
